Twyla has over 25 years leadership experience in both private and public sector setting strategic direction, delivering organizational objectives and negotiating collective agreements that provide labour stability. Her passion is nurturing a workplace culture that enables the achievement of strategic business plans, fosters diversity and inclusion, while supporting colleagues in achieving their professional best.

Member of senior team, led LR and HR functions. Facilitated corporate strategic planning. Responsible for aligning people and culture strategy with the business strategy for a multi-national organization with 7,000 union and non-union employees. Employer spokesperson for Western Pattern Pulp & Paper Collective Bargaining with Unifor, as well as negotiating Agreements with United Steelworkers, PPWC and IBEW.

Public Sector: Transportation

Led the HR, Finance, Procurement and Information Technology functions for a public transportation provider. Facilitated an organizational effectiveness review and led change management efforts to prepare and implement shared services across TransLink. Employer spokesperson for collective bargaining with CUPE.

Public Sector: Post-Secondary

Facilitated professional development including design, development and implementation of curriculum & facilitator materials. Employer spokesperson for collective bargaining with BCGEU, CUPE and Faculty Associations.

Natural Resource Industry

Member of senior team. Led a global plant-to-customer integrated system implementation across multiple countries and businesses over 5 years. Oversaw the governance of global finance systems implementations including GL, leasing, employee expense, fixed assets, and projects. Key driver on various cost/margin business improvement initiatives. Executed multi-year finance roadmap to transform the finance department; led to organizational reform that include shared services across a family of businesses. Led Strategic Sourcing with a $.5 billion spend. Led case file on NAFTA challenge for major licensee.

Led the Finance function for a green-field start up of the University of Northern British Columbia

Former Steelworkers-Wood Council chairperson, Bob has over 25 years experience as a Trustee of both Health & Welfare Plans as well as Pension Plans. Bob has been a Director on numerous Boards, including non-profit (Community Development) and Corporate (Forest Products Manufacturing and Real Estate Development).
